Exploring the Mexican frontier on horseback!!!!

Wow! What an awesome afternoon! I’m still on cloud ten! (that’s one step above cloud nine!) Really it was so cool, we got to run with the horses, which was probably the coolest feeling in the world! The wind blowing through my hair and the rhythm of the horses hooves against the dust. Everyone asked where I learned to ride, they said I looked like a natural…well I sure fooled them didn’t I, all that time I’ve spent riding horses really paid off! He he! I would love to learn…maybe someday! There was definitely dust…we were plastered by the time all was said and done! I’m still shaking dust out of my hair! We got to ride for a full hour, and at times we were surround by trees following a small creek through the “rough” terrain! It was really actually picture perfect and by far one of the best things we’ve done so far! Giddy on up!

I really wanted to name my horse (I’m sure it already had a name, but I was a little bit lacking in the creative department, and I really could not find anything that just really “fit”. So instead I just called her “girl”. “C’mon girl” “good girl” let’s go girl” (both in Spanish and English…my horse is bilingual! J )

I love horseback riding, especially when you can run them and go where you want to and not in a straight line following the horse in front of you. How fun. Life at home is going to be very boring after these last 2 months. But I have lots of projects to keep you busy:)
